The boys basketball season is headed down the home stretch, and plenty of players appear ready for tournament time.
Here’s the latest batch of weekly honors, which highlight performances among local New Jersey, Colonial League and Eastern Pennsylvania Conference programs.
N.J. Star of the Week
Jr. G Matthew Scerbo Jr., Phillipsburg
Scerbo scored a career-high 30 points as Phillipsburg topped Gill St. Bernard’s. He averaged 21 points per game in victories against Colonia, Ridge and Somerville. He also registered 22 rebounds, 19 assists and 11 steals in that four-game span.
